 The story of lord kartikeya and lord ganesha

Once goddess Parvati had a divine fruit wanted by her both sons kartikeya and ganesha. Lord shiva decided that the one who circles the world 3 thimes and comes back first will get it. After hearing the it lord kartikeya swiftly got into his peacock and embarked for the voyage. But Ganesha was awared of his enormous size and his vehicle the mouse.After thinking clearly,he started a tour around his parents. Lord shiva and goddess parvati were astonished by this. When ganesha completed the 3 rounds and touched  his parents feet, they blessed him and ask why did he do so. Ganesha replied kindly that for him the whole world resides within his parents. After hearing this not only lord shiva and goddess parvati but also all the gods admired and blessed lord Ganesh for his wisdom and intelect.

This story teaches us that in any condition one should not get panic because clouds of panic hide our thinking capability. So one should control his/her intentions and emotions and think clearly about the situation and try to solve it. If a man has a will, to do a thing he will find a way to do it. No obstacle is insurmountable enough to deter him. Nothing can shake his faith.
